Fostering Cultural Diversity and Development:
Local, National and Global Strategies Third Annual Conference of the International Network for Cultural Diversity Cape Town, South Africa
Artists, activists and cultural organizations from around the world will meet this year in Cape Town, South Africa for the Third Annual Conference of the INCD, Oct 11-13 to continue building the international NGO network.
The conference will discuss strategies to foster cultural diversity in and among nations and analyse the effects of programs that link culture and development.
The conference will precede the meeting of culture ministers organized in the International Network on Cultural Policy. Delegates from both networks will take part in a working session to discuss the convention and other matters of common concern. This continuing dialogue is a rare and valuable opportunity for collaboration between government and civil society.
