From 6 to 9 November, Zurich will host the autumn meeting with the conference topic of 'misunderstanding'
At the conference in Zurich, speakers from the fields of art, economics and politics, together with performing arts professionals will discuss the topic of 'misunderstanding'.
Following a history marked and defined by its diversity, the vision of a modern Europe now tries to assemble different nations without leveling their cultural diversity. The variety provided by Switzerland's four national languages is only one of many attributes of its cultural diversity. This richness of diversity can also be the cause of many misunderstandings. How can art and culture deal with these misunderstandings in a productive and creative way?
The main event venue for the conference is 'Kulturinsel Gessnerallee', with Theaterhaus Gessnerallee and the Zurich University of the Arts' 'Department of Performing Arts and Film'. Parts of the event will take place at Kaufleuten Zürich.
The conference is aimed at performing arts professionals and is reserved for registered IETM Meeting participants.
