IETM Spring Plenary Meeting in Berlin, 15-18 April 2010

It has been 25 years since IETM was in Berlin. The world has changed a lot since then and so have IETM and its members...

This IETM Meeting will bring some fresh air and an unusual format: welcomed by some of the the key cultural players of Berlin, we aim to re-think ourselves at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt (an architectural landmark in the West of the city) and Radial System V (a new platform for the arts in the East).

Your participation will be crucial to help us construct the programme for this meeting with the theme, "Searching for Plan C".

After having tried Plans A and B from Capitalism to Communism, from the market economy to protectionism, from surrealism to post-modernism, the democracies in which we live are looking for new ways of getting out of this so-called crisis.

In gathering the specialists of crisis management (you, the cultural operators!), we shall discover some creative solutions and propose a Plan C for our societies. Warning: your creativity will be tested in Berlin...
