We are pleased to invite you to the IETM's 29th Annual Spring Plenary Meeting in Istanbul from 19 -23 April 2006. This will be a very unique IETM meeting, as it is part of a larger concept, IETM at Culture Forum Istanbul : "Margins of Europe" co-organised by our partner, Avrupa Kültür Dernegi (European Cultural Association). In addition, we will be working with a large number of associated partners and colleagues from the EU, candidate and neighbouring countries and of course, Turkey. Margins of Europe touches the political, geographic, artistic, emotional and mental margins of the artistic scene of Europe and her neighbours. You will be invited to start the dialogue prior to the event in April via an internet based communication platform. Margins of Europe will be reflected in various ways during the working groups of the IETM Plenary Meeting. IETM members will have the opportunity to take part in a one day conference on Wednesday 19th April 2006. From 20th till 23rd April there will be the usual IETM meeting format with working and meeting groups on the central topics, training sessions and project presentations.
