The Inclusive Museum Conference is held annually in different locations around the world. The inaugural Conference was held at the National Museum of Ethnology, Leiden, the Netherlands in 2008, the Second International Conference on the Inclusive Museum was held at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia in 2009, and the 2010 Conference was held at Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul, Turkey.

The International Journal of the Inclusive Museum

Conference participants can submit papers to the Inclusive Museum Journal, before the Conference and up until one month after the Conference. Papers submitted for publication will be fully refereed. The publication decision is based on the referees’ reports.

For those unable to attend the Conference in person, a virtual registration will provide participants access to the electronic version of the Journal, as well as the option to submit papers for refereeing and possible publication.
