The International Book Fair of Havana will take place from February 5-15, 2004. One of the most important meetings in the field of book publishing, the fair draws representatives of literary agencies, libraries and others book-publishing professionals in the region. Academics, writers, exhibitors and VIPs take part in an extensive program of activities, which include book launches, lectures and round-table discussions in the San Carlos de la Cabaña Fortress, one of Havana’s major cultural and tourist centres.
