The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Cuba has issued an invitation to the Fifth International Congress of 'Informatics for Culture', to be held in Havana City, Convention Palace, 19-22 February 2002. The event, on the occasion of the 2002 Informatics Convention, has as its main purpose to continue the exchange of experience in the application of Informatics for Art and Culture, as well as to encourage the introduction and use of communications and new technologies in this field.
