International Congress on Cultural Rights and Human Development

The Interarts Foundation is organising, together with UNESCO and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (AECI), an International Congress on Cultural Rights and Human Development within the framework of the Universal Forum of Cultures Barcelona2004, in August 2004. The Congress is expected to be a major encounter of experts, international organizations and networks from different fields related to cultural rights, human rights, cultural diversity, policies and human development. By bringing together these agents from a great number of fields and countries, the event aims to have a lasting impact on the ongoing debates on cultural rights and cultural indicators for human development.
