'Meeting Place' is the biennial Regional Arts Australia conference, and the largest arts conference in the country. It is a signature event that attracts delegates from all over regional Australia as well as key decision makers in federal, state and local governments.
The conference will feature some of the best art being produced in Australia in 2004, including stunning interactive animation, aerial performance and three major new commissions on site.
There will also be rigorous debate focusing on contemporary arts practice and issues, with provocative cultural commentators, policy makers, artists and thinkers taking part in a series of facilitated discussions, debates, and salons.
Registrations for 'Meeting Place' 2004 open on Wednesday 9 June.
