The practices and issues involved in artistic mobility: from the local to the international level is a seminar that will be organised in Bordeaux, France, 22 October 2009
Artistic mobility corresponds to different objectives: to set the scene, to organise the presentation of works to a varied public, in a way which will be enriching for the artists concerned, to stimulate their networking adoption of networks.
What is the best way to help works and creative teams circulate from the region in which they are established into other regions? How can artistic mobility be perceived on the local level and also on the regional, inter-regional, national and international levels?
The conference will be organised around the following themes
- Mobility: a resource for artistic creation?
- Artistic mobility: a cultural issue, a resource for the territory?
- From the local level to the international: accompanying artistic mobility through different levels (local, regional, etc)
Organised by the Observatoire des Politiques Culturelles, Grenoble, France - In collaboration with the OARA, the City of Bordeaux, the Gironde Departmental Council, the Aquitaine Region, the Aquitaine DRAC and the IDDAC and in partnership with Relais Culture Europe / International Network of Contemporary Performing Arts – IETM
