Professor Anita Taylor, Head of the Wimbledon College of Art will present on "The place for an academy for artists: the curriculum and educational environment".
Professor Taylor has exhibited widely in Europe and Australia and is the Director of the Jerwood Drawing Prize, which she initiated as the Open Drawing Exhibition at Cheltenham in 1994.
She was Artist-in-Residence at Durham Cathedral, Cheltenham Fellow in Painting and Artist-in-Residence in Drawing at the National Art School Sydney.
She is an Arts and Humanities Research Council Peer Reviewer and is a member of the Art and Design Panel for the Higher Education Funding Council Research Assessment Exercise.
