This conference will present the results of the Training Artists for Intervention (TAFI) two-year cooperation project and will reflect on the type of training artists need in order to deliver artistic interventions as a tool for innovation. It will outline competencies that artists need, and identify a curriculum-building model for the successful implementation of artistic interventions in organisations.
Within the conference artists and policy makers will reflect upon the competencies and training possibilities artists need and the consequences for EU-policies.
The conference will also present a handbook Training Artists for Innovation, Competencies for new contexts, based on the project's research into organisations and artists, including the competencies needed by artists, how to set up a curriculum for such training and how producers of artistic interventions contribute to a learning environment for artists.
