The Scottish Arts Council and the Scottish Museums Council have commissioned Professor Alistair McCleery to undertake a preliminary study of the issues, both theoretical and practical, in making an inventory of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) in Scotland in conformity with the UNESCO Convention on Intangible Cultural Heritage.
