New appointments at Ireland's Arts Council

Ireland’s Arts Council has announced two new appointments to its Arts Programming department. The two new managers are expected to play key roles in improving the quality of Arts Council interaction with arts venues and resource organisations within the sector. Claire Doyle, new Programme Manager, Resource and Service Companies, will act as the primary point of contact between the Arts Council and a wider range of arts resource and service organisatons. Doyle comes to the Arts Council from her previous position at Poetry Ireland. Liz Culloty, new Programme Manager, Arts Venues, joins the Arts Council from the Limerick Belltable Arts Centre, where she was Executive Director from 2000. Culloty and Doyle will join Andrea Corbett, Arts Programme Manager, Festival and Events, who has been working in the Arts Programme department since February.
