Capital grants for Wales venues to improve access
21 October 2003, United Kingdom
The Arts Council of Wales has allocated £1 million in capital grants for venues to improve access for disabled people. The funding scheme has been launched to assist venues to meet the requirements set out by the Disability Discrimination Act 1995, which comes into effect in October 2004. The scheme is only open to non-publicly owned venues, which must prove a recent access audit has been carried out before applying. For further information, CLICK HERE.
