A working group of the Ministry of Education and Culture proposes preparatory work begin on establishing a multidisciplinary arts university to be created from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts, the Sibelius Academy and the Theatre Academy Helsinki. The aim is that the new university would start operating in 2013.
