Minister Banov: "I will give all my best for the development of Bulgarian culture and Bulgarian art"

 “I will give all my best for the development of Bulgarian culture and Bulgarian art.” This was stated today by the new minister of culture, Boil Banov at the official ceremony at which the interim minister of culture Rashko Mladenov delivered the position to him.

The event held in the early afternoon today at the Ministry of Culture was attended by the institution’s staff, including directors of directorates.

 Rashko Mladenov pointed out that he has had a wonderful three-month working relationship with Boil Ivanov and therefore, is much thankful to him. “This election makes me very glad and full of hope that our culture will have a better future”, as Mr. Mladenov emphasized.”

 

 In line with the long-year tradition, Rashko Mladenov symbolically handed over to the new minister of culture Boil Banov a phototype copy of the transcript of the renowned Chronicle of Constantine Manasses and wished him good luck.

Minister Boil Banov pointed out that irrespective of the arduous work, the three months of his joint work with Rashko Mladenov are of great significance for him. According to Minister Banov, Bulgarian culture was honoured to have as head of the Ministry such a  tremendously intelligent, tolerant person like Rashko Mladenov.

 B. Banov addressed his colleagues and shared that for him it was a pleasure to work at the Ministry of Culture since he knew the entire staff of the institution. “I am glad that we will continue our joint work. I guarantee with all my heart that I will do my best to facilitate your work as we shall jointly try to contribute to the development of Bulgarian culture and art, as well as establish conditions for artists to create and impart added value to the future of this country’, Minister Banov stressed in conclusion and wished luck to all in that noble undertaking.
