The Council for Culture is starting an advisory process on artistic freedom. The reason for this is signals from the art sector that safety and artistic freedom are sometimes under pressure. The council has set up an advisory committee for this purpose. This committee investigates the background to the problem and comes up with recommendations on how artistic freedom can be better guaranteed in practice. The advisory committee has now started. The council is expected to present its advice in the autumn of 2025.
