Dr Luke Dalli appointed new Executive Chairperson of Arts Council Malta

Arts Council Malta,
13 June 2025, Malta

The Minister for Culture, Lands and Local Government Owen Bonnici appointed Dr Luke Dalli as the new Executive Chairperson of Arts Council Malta.

Dr Dalli will be succeeding Albert Marshall, who, after many years of dedicated service and significant achievements in strengthening Malta’s cultural and creative sectors, has opted to assume a different role within the same Council.

Mr Marshall will continue contributing to the Council as a consultant, thereby allowing the Council to continue benefiting from his extensive experience and deep knowledge of Malta’s cultural and creative ecosystem.

Dr Bonnici thanked Mr Marshall for his long years of excellent service to the sector and for accepting his request to keep contributing towards the Council in this new role.

Dr Luke Dalli, aged 36, is a lawyer specialised in intellectual property law and public procurement. Over the past eleven years, he has served as Head of Legal Affairs, and later as Chief Operating Officer within the same Arts Council Malta.

Minister Bonnici wished Dr Dalli every success in his new role and looks forward to continuing, together with the management and all employees of Arts Council Malta, to build a cultural and creative sector that offers a natural home for Maltese and Gozitan artists.
