In March 2026, Mauritius will host the very first edition of the Mauritius Art and Culture Investment Summit, an international event that aims to position the island as a major hub for art and culture in Africa and the Indian Ocean. Inspired by the success of the three editions of the Mauritius International Art Fair, this summit intends to take a new step forward by focusing on creative and cultural investment as a driver of sustainable development, explains Zaahirah Muthy, founder of ZeeArts and organizer of the event.
