The state visit of the President of the Republic to Finland on 28–29 April will be attended by a cultural delegation consisting of Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture Merilin Piipuu, Deputy Secretary General for Cultural Heritage Eili Lepik and representatives of ten museums.
"The focus of our visit is on the continued cultural cooperation between Estonia and Finland, the role of cultural heritage in today's security and cooperation context, and its protection in crisis situations," Secretary General Piipuu said. "We know that culture helps strengthen the resilience of societies. Its joint protection and mutual empowerment helps to support the international rise of our artists and make sense of the changing world."
