The present state provides evidence base grounded in research and statistics, enabling all interested stakeholders to participate in informed discussion on the direction of cultural policy in Finland. It constitutes a temporal cross-section that also serves as a baseline for monitoring future developments. The future trajectories section, in turn, offers perspectives on the potential directions of Finnish cultural policy and the possibilities for their ongoing monitoring.
