The Council of Ministers adopted a draft law on social security for people performing an artistic profession, prepared by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. This is the first act of this type in the Polish legal system and an important step towards a solution that the artistic community has been waiting for for years - the real inclusion of artists in the social and health insurance system. The project is a response to the long-standing problem of the lack of a stable framework of protection for people working in culture. It was created as part of extensive consultations with the artistic community.
