A mural about the ocean, experiencing forest through a creative lens, growing nature in former industrial spaces: across Europe, artists are finding new ways to reconnect people with the environment. 

The European Union supports these initiatives, helping transform ideas into projects with a lasting impact on people, places and nature. On World Environment Day, they put the spotlight on three Creative Europe-funded projects whose work is making a difference on the ground.
