The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Arts (MTCA) has taken a new step in taking environmental issues into account in the management of public finances. The executives of the ministerial department participated, on June 24 and 25, 2026 in Lomé, in a capacity building workshop dedicated to green budgeting.
The opening ceremony was chaired by the Chief of Staff, representing the Minister, Isaac TCHIAKPE. In his speech, he recalled that the preservation of the environment was no longer an option, but a requirement that should henceforth guide public policies and the State's budgetary choices.
