The declarations adopted in Santiago, Chile (2023), and Montevideo, Uruguay (2024), laid the foundation for the shared agenda advanced in Santo Domingo. Member States took a further step by agreeing on concrete priorities for the 2026–2027 period and strengthening the regional cooperation architecture to support the implementation of public policies on artificial intelligence.
