The conference will address the political transitions, economic opportunities and social challenges facing the region and the role Europe can contribute towards realising a Euro-Arab cooperation in these areas. The conference will bring approximately 350 invited guests together who represent a cross section of representatives from the difference segments of the European and Arabic public and private sector, civil societs and the academic community. The conference will close with Lakhdar Brahimi being awarded the Carnegie Wateler Peace Prize.
