Around 200 projects have received grants from the Cultural provision for art and new technology in the period 2003-2008. Erlend Hammer is engaged to write a report about the arts and new technology.  A seminar is scheduled on 7th November to sum up experiences and discuss further challenges. 

The report will point to specific issues and trends in the electronic art, and say something about the location of these projects in cultural provision as a whole. The project's content, themes and educational aspects will be reviewed, and be viewed in the context of the use of technology and working methods.

The report and minutes of the seminar will be published on Norwegian Arts web pages. The publication will form the basis for advice with regard to the possibility of an adjustment in the focus areas of Arts and new technology within the policies of Norwegian Arts.
