Call for Papers: Cultural Entrepreneurship Conference

Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku, Pori Unit kindly invites the submission of abstracts or full papers of Cultural Entrepreneurship Conference (CEC). Participants in different scientific disciplines are invited to contribute in the context of topical issues of the conference, Networked Cultural Heritage and its ‘Impact’ on Place Brands - Global Perspectives on Capturing Value through Entrepreneurial Partnerships.

Authors are recommended to supply a structured extended abstracts or full papers to the following address: abstracts.cec(a)utu.fi by 10 September 2012.

Participants are invited to submit an extended abstract or full paper by selecting one disciplinary focus economic (track 1), socio-cultural (track 2) or political (track 3). We wish that you will specifically inform your intension to which of the three tracks (economic, socio-cultural or political dynamic) you target your submission. Further, participants should present their argumentation in a systematic framework, including the former’s role in shaping the spatial dynamics and network impacts, in a manner that in an evidenced-based manner reflects their research background/training and expertise, clearly.

Submission Rules and Policies

  • Submitted papers must not have been previously presented or scheduled for presentation in an international conference, or published or accepted for publication.
  • Each submitter is allowed to enter 1 paper submission only as the first author author/presenter. This enables a smooth scheduling process and ensures broad program participation.
  • Submitters should select the track (economic, socio-cultural, political dynamic and their spatial -network impact) that best fits their submission.
  • Incomplete submissions will not be reviewed.
