30 July 2007 – 31 July 2007, Australia

The 2007 FECCA Congress will be held at the Wrest Point Resort in Hobart, Tasmania on July 30 & 31. Australia's successful and unique diversity is famous the world over. As we make our way forward in a rapidly changing and diversifying world, there are different schools of thought on how Australia should shape its cultural and social identity. The theme of the Congress will revolve around the concepts of EMPOWERMENT and INCLUSION. We will be exploring through plenary addresses, panel discussions, workshops and presentations, how these concepts relate to Australia's cultural and social diversity. FECCA is the Australian national peak body that promotes multiculturalism, community harmony, unity, and social justice.
