EUROPE: Challenges, Examples and Opportunities

EUCLID, the UK Cultural Contact Point, is pleased to announce a series of seminars focusing on key European issues and challenges:
Cultural Policy as a Tool for Change: 10 January
European Co-operation: Case Studies: 17 January
The new Structural Funds 2007-2013: 7 February
Citizenship and the new Europe: 15 February
The European Union Approach to Culture: 7 March
Each seminar will explore these issues through stimulating presentations from experts from across Europe and the UK, and will provide an opportunity for discussion and debate about the topics raised. Where appropriate, practical suggestions and proposals will be shared and explored.
Speakers from the UK, the European Commission, the European Parliament, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain and Sweden will gather at the Department for Culture, Media & Sport fro the seminars.
