Insights 2006 – For art's sake

A national conference for anyone working in socially engaged practice, interpretation, participation, community development or education within the arts.
Insights takes place over two days (28–29 March 2006) and provides a variety of opportunities to share practice, debate and discuss key issues, hear inspiring speakers and, of course, network with colleagues from across the whole of England.
The conference will be hosted by Michael Rosen.The keynote event will open the afternoon of day one and will include speeches from Professor Guy Claxton and Peter Renshaw. The session will be chaired by Bonnie Greer and will finish with a whole conference debate, exploring the value of creative learning within the arts.
Additionally, there will be a selection of workshops, discussions, networking sessions and an opportunity to explore Mark Titchner's IS IT YOU exhibition at the Arnolfini Gallery or see a performance.
