International Conference on Cultural Policy and Art Production

The University of Arts in Belgrade is organising an international conference on Cultural Policy and Art Production.
This initiative is part of University efforts to be an active player in social transition and democratisation of cultural systems in Serbia and other countries in South East Europe.
The Conference emphasises the need of cooperation in policy development, international understanding, culture coalition building and European policy dialogue in the field of culture.
The Conference framework will feature the innaugral meeting of university professors engaged in teaching cultural policy in the Balkan countries.
Other participating networks and working groups active in the Region include such as Policies for Culture team (www.policiesforculture.org) and the Champions Group (www.isaacsuk.co.uk).
