Masters in Arts Management
02 August 2002 – 02 October 2002, United Kingdom
The Department of Arts Policy and Management at City University
(London) is now welcoming applications from national and international students for its MA in Arts Management, for the next academic year starting October 2002.
The Department has formal arrangements with universities in Ireland, Spain, Denmark, the Netherlands, France and Finland, which for the past 12 years have attracted SOCRATES/ERASMUS funding from the European Union to encourage student mobility.
The course allows students to plan their own pathway of studies with the ability to choose the modules they want to study; giving students the possibility to direct (or re-direct) their career direction.
The course requires that students complete 4 modules - 2 compulsory and 2
electives - and a 15,000 word dissertation where students will be able to
explore a topic of their choice.
There are also a range of complementary 'academic support' initiatives available that are especially designed for those who left school some time ago. These skills, like for example, presentation skills or report writing will also greatly enhance the quality of student performance as a professional in their chosen field.
