New Voices, Hidden Histories
26 February 2004 – 27 February 2004, United Kingdom
New Voices, Hidden Histories - A Cultural Diversity Conference will explore cultural diversity in the arts in Scotland.
Dates: February 26-27, 2004
Venue: The Space, Dundee College
The conference is to explore the meanings attached to ‘cultural diversity’. How is Scotland diverse? What is the history and contemporary nature of that diversity? How might Scottish cultural institutions pursue diversity in programming and audience development? How should arts organisations and others include new voices and represent hidden histories?
