The Conference “Taking Parts” on arts, culture and civil society will take place in London from 29 to 30 October 2010. Organised by the University of London, the event aims at strengthening links between those working in arts and those working in participation.

The conference will share research findings and foster dialogue and debate on issues such as could the arts and culture be working together with third sector organisations in order to face inequalities or if participation in arts and cultural activities is the powerful catalyser for civic engagement.
