A World Without Walls - an International Congress on “Soft Power”, Cultural Diplomacy and Interdependence

On the twentieth anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, as the eyes of the world fall upon Berlin once again, the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy and CivWorld/Demos will hold “A World Without Walls: An International Congress on Interdependence and Cultural Diplomacy“.

“A World without Walls” will consist of a series of lectures, seminars and panel discussions taking place in Berlin over a period of four days, culminating in the celebrations to mark the fall of the Berlin Wall. These components will be complemented by cultural and social activities that will allow the participants to network with each other and experience Berlin’s rich and diverse cultural landscape.

Speakers during the program will be leading figures from the fields of academia and politics and will include renowned historians and political scientists, as well as current and former high-ranking politicians and diplomats. The sessions will be designed to allow the audience to raise important questions and discuss key issues with the speakers following their presentations.
