Director Corporate Affairs

The Corporate Affairs Division comprises the following areas - Human Resources, Legal, Council Secretariat and Executive Administrative Support. This newly created Division will have a central role in the strategic management and development of Council's corporate functions, with strong emphasis on people management, The Director, Corporate Affairs will require extensive experience and understanding of best practice human resource management. Strong leaderships and strategic skills, knowledge of corporate governance issues, excellent communication, negotiation and representational skills are essential to this role. The position is part of the senior management team of council and requires close liasion with Council as well as the Chief Executive Officer.
