Scottish Arts Council announced its new Vice Chair, Dale Idiens, in late January. A member of the council since 1999 and also Chair of its Crafts Committee, Idiens has previously been Director of the Crafts Gallery and Deputy Director at the National Museums of Scotland. Idiens expressed her enthusiasm for her new role in a recent SAC media release, 'I shall be delighted to assist the Chairman and the Council at a very exciting time for the arts in Scotland.'
