The issues relating to fulfilling the specific tasks set by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to workers of culture and art were put on the agenda of the meeting at the Palace of Mukams of the National Cultural Centre of Turkmenistan. Those speaking at the meeting focused on the keynote speech of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who had underscored the need to create new highly artistic works in the spirit of modern times and meeting modern requirements which glorified the ideals of the new historical epoch inspiring the Turkmen people for creative work, contributing to patriotic, spiritual, moral and aesthetic education of young people, stirring up the pride in their Motherland. Focusing on the topicality of the tasks set by the Turkmen leader, the meeting participants underscored the importance of creative search, innovative decisions and new approaches in the work of literary men, theatrical and film actors, artists, journalists, which played a significant role in forming the ideology of new Revival.
The participants were unanimous that the preservation and propagation of the unique cultural heritage of the Turkmen nation and the wise age-old traditions, which were maintained today in a worthy manner, and the full-scale use of the richness of the Turkmen language were of particular importance. The key aspects included training highly qualified specialists of a new formation able to face contemporary realities and resumption of the activity of village libraries and cultural centres which performed an important cultural and educational mission.
It was emphasized that through implementing the national development strategy today all conditions conducive to free and fruitful creative work were created in our country, the great attention was paid to encouragement and support of young talents. Expressing gratitude to the Turkmen leader for his unceasing concern, the meeting participants including the cabinet ministers, the high-ranking officials and specialists of the Ministry of Culture and Broadcasting, the art schools, media agencies, workers of culture and art were assured that they would spare no effort, talent and inspiration for the benefit and prosperity of the beloved Motherland.
