A Protocol of cooperation was signed today in the Auditorium of Manacor between the Balearic Government, the Public Institute of Municipal Theatre of manacor and the company of Mallorcan tennis player, Rafa Nadal. The agreement with equip the Auditorium of Manacor with stage scenary and other elements necessary for its operations.
The Protocol was signed by the President of the Government, José Ramón Bauzá, the mayor of Manacor, the President of the Public Institute of the Municipal Theatre of Manacor, Antoni Pastor and Rafael Nadal.
President of the Balearic Islands, José Ramón Bauzá, highlighted the commitment of the regional administration, local government and the company of Rafa Nadal in setting up a cultural space for various artistic disciplines. Support from both governments and the cooperation of private enterprise will mean the possibility to offer soon a wide repertoire of performing arts. The auditorium, with a capacity for 785 spectators, may soon be offering large-scale shows.
