The Director Community Partnerships provides leadership to the Community Partnership section and is responsible for whole-of-organisation strategic community cultural development partnerships and programs through implementation of the Council’s strategic plan and sector strategies, developed in consultation with key internal and external stakeholders.
The Director will provide high level advice to the Executive team, Council and government on issues relating to community cultural development in Australia.
This position will develop, maintain and implement a sector plan to ensure delivery of grant programs which support outcomes for the sector, artists and arts organisations. Likewise, this position will promote and leverage a range of cooperative and productive working relationships with key stakeholders at sector, government (state and federal) and community levels.

The commencement salary for this role is negotiable commensurate with experience.
