IFACCA is delighted to welcome the Department of Arts and Culture, Zambia, as an affiliate member.
The Department of Arts and Culture was established by Zambia’s first president and was given a mandate of managing and coordinating official Cultural activities. The Department is organized at three levels, Headquarters, Provincial and District. The Department has two sections: Folklore Section, and Creative Industries Section. The Department is directed by Victor Makashi, former Director of the National Arts Council of Zambia, the national member of IFACCA.
