Community leaders from Mampuján, Trujillo, Bojayá and Carmen del Darién, who have been victims of armed conflict in their municipalities, met to talk about the actions implemented in the regions by the cultural sector. These are actions that have strengthened the reconciliation processes and the construction of memory, and have been supported by the Population Office of the Ministry of Culture.

"Culture is a fundamental element in the reconstruction of the social fabric within the framework of the reparation and reconciliation processes. Cultural practices and traditions have great potential in the development of alternative narratives in societies where social life has been permeated by violence ". said Moises Medrano, Director of Population, Ministry of Culture.
