En el marco del proyecto “Salvaguardia del patrimonio cultural de pueblos indigenas” técnicos de la Secretaría Nacional de Cultura (SNC) visitaron las comunidades Paī Tavyterã Guaraní de Yvypyte y Cerro Akangue del departamento de Amambay.
Con el objetivo de contribuir en la emergencia por los incendios que afectan actualmente a las regiones de Ñuble, Biobío, Araucanía y Los Lagos, la ministra de las Culturas, Julieta Brodsky, visitó hoy a diversas zonas de la región de Ñuble, para entregar botiquines culturales y compartir con funcionarios, cultores, artistas y trabajadores relacionados al patrimonio.
In a pan-Sami project, three institutions have collaborated on a Sami approach to documenting and continuing Sami cultural heritage. "As creative beings, we are constantly inspired by something, and it is important to illuminate and document that. Not to dwell on what has been, but to drive art and culture forward," says Gunvor Guttorm, a professor at Sámi Allaskuvla.
Casi mil artesanos y artesanas fueron parte del proceso participativo para una Ley de Artesanía, que incluyó la sistematización de información histórica, diálogos regionales y uno nacional, además de una consulta ciudadana virtual.
UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, meeting in Rabat from 28 November to 3 December, inscribed 47 elements submitted by 60 countries on the Intangible Cultural Heritage lists.
In view of fostering dynamic creative industries in developing countries, UNESCO has launched an exploratory study, aiming to map the fashion industry in Africa and provide a detailed and accurate assessment of its current state of development. This call is open to interested institutions/organizations that can develop and conduct a multi-stakeholder survey in order to collect qualitative and quantitative data on the main trends, challenges and opportunities faced by the fashion industry in Africa, as well as produce an analysis of the results and present them in a consolidated report, which will be published in the framework of the work conducted by UNESCO on cultural and creative industries and in line with the Organization’s Global Priority Africa.
