The 4th World Summit was co-hosted by the National Arts Council of South Africa (NAC) and the International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA). The Summit theme was Meeting of Cultures: Creating Meaning through the Arts, and speakers inspired debate around the role of the arts in intercultural dialogue. The event was attended by 450 delegates from 70 countries, with 250 delegates - representing 31 countries – from the African continent.
