Conference on applied interculturality research (CAIR)

The first conference on Applied Interculturality Research will be held in Graz, Austria from 7-10 April 2010. The main thematic focus of cAIR10 is the application of interculturality research, understood to mean any constructive exchange, interaction or dialogue between theory and practice in any area of interculturality.

The conference program will include a range of presentation and exchange formats including keynotes, parallel sessions, poster sessions and open-space plenary/workshops. Keynotes will last 40 minutes followed by 20 minutes of discussion. Other talks will last 20 minutes followed by 7 minutes of discussion and will be presented in parallel sessions of no more than three papers simultaneously. Both keynotes and talks will be audiovisual (e.g. Powerpoint). Posters will be standard DIN-A0 size and will be presented during sessions dedicated to posters (i.e. not in parallel with another event).

The deadline for paper proposals is 31 August 2009.
