Salzburg Culture Forum 2005

The 2005 Salzburg Culture Forum, entitled Why Doubt - Why Draft, will take place from July 25 to August 27, at the International Centre for Culture and Management (ICCM) in Kolleg St. Josef (Salzburg/Austria).
The SCF serves as an international meeting place where knowledge and cultural awareness is nurtured.
The event aims at enabling the world's cultural leaders to act appropriately and successfully in promoting their cultures' advancement and cultural identities while facing the challenges of globalisation.
The 2005 SCF will feature representatives of the cultural management world, renowned lecturers and trainers, who will help participants develop projects and provide visions for facing cultural challenges.
Three modules will be offered at the Forum (which may be attended individually):
Course I - Next Generation Projects: Business-Plan
A two week compact training course designed to provide professional support for leaders and project managers at the national and international level, working in arts, culture or media, and to prepare them for new tasks. The course is suitable for professionals are already working on concrete projects who want to approve their business and marketing plans.
Salzburg Culture Forum Work Conference - Visions & Strategies
The work conference is a new work and learning experience for cultural operators and administrators, focused on the development of next-generation-projects and programmes. Participants will meet and work with internationally renowned curators and arts theorists, who will facilitate the work on drafts for the future.
Course II - Next Generation Projects
This course is designed for young professionals who want to develop new projects that lead into the 3rd millennium. Participants will work with renowned facilitators to hone visions and develop concepts.
