Arts is a key driver of regional tourism

As many parts of regional Australia try and attract visitors back to fire and disaster hit areas, new research released by the Australia Council for the Arts shows artistic events and experiences are one of the main tourism attractions, particularly for regional Australia.

Dr Wendy Were is the Australia Council's Executive Director of Strategic Development and Advocacy, and has spoken to ABC NewsRadio's Glen Bartholemew.
