In 2022, with a total of 4,083 billion euros (excluding public audiovisual) after €3.805 billion in 2021, the budget of the Mission Culture and Mission Media, Book and Cultural Industries translated a historic effort by the State to promote cultural policies. Before transfers and excluding civil pension costs, it will €273 million, is +7.5% compared to the initial 2021 Finance Act.
As the National Arts Council (NAC) commemorates three decades of Singapore's arts and culture, it pays tribute to patrons who gave close to $40 million to the arts amidst a challenging 2020.
To help us achieve the vision of Let’s Create, we will publish a series of Delivery Plans over the next decade. These will set out in more detail the steps we will take to deliver Let’s Create and how we will resource them. The first Delivery Plan covers 2021-24. Its a live document, which we’ll be adding to and updating over the coming months and years.
The Government proposes a record-breaking increase in the culture budget of SEK 1.3 billion for 2022. An incentive support of SEK 745 million will be distributed by the Swedish Arts Council. Investments in the cultural collaboration model, libraries, free performing arts and image and form are also strengthened via the Swedish Arts Council.
